At Merrylee Dental Practice, we aim to make the process of registering as a new NHS patient as easy as possible. Prior to your first appointment, you’ll need to fill out a medical history form, so please bring a current list of any medications you’re taking.
If you’re registering your child, we encourage you to do so at the same time as yourself. There’s no need to wait until your child’s teeth come in—they can be registered soon after birth.
As an adult patient, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan, starting with a thorough clinical examination to help ensure your oral health is well-maintained and any necessary care is provided.
During your examination, our dentist will:
- Examine your teeth, gums, and tongue.
- Offer advice on how to keep your mouth healthy.
- Discuss any necessary treatments and explain your options, including what can be covered under the NHS.
- Outline any treatment costs.
